植物の息吹に力をもらう

「uwaru」は
ユニークな植物たちをモチーフに取り入れた柄をメインに展開していく、
京都で生まれた小さなテキスタイルブランドです。
ブランド名である「uwaru」は「植わる」を意味します。
「植える」がその行為を表すのに対し、「植わる」は結果や状態を表します。
個性的な柄たちが、日々の生活（くらし）にしっかりと根をおろし、
愛されるようにとの想いで名付けました。

“uwaru” (woo-wa-ru) is a Kyoto based textile brand.
Our botanical drawings and artworks are all original and exclusive from
our tiny studio located very close to the Nijyo Castle for decades.
“uwaru” is the Japanese meaning of “to be planted”
which expresses the result or state of being planted.
We named this with the hope that the unique patterns
will be firmly rooted in your daily lives and beloved.
